Ziggy and Miles’s international debut album, Sidekick, is set to release globally on streaming platforms and physically within Australia on July 15th, 2023. The album is being released on Move Records, Australia’s longest running classical record label. It features new works written for the brothers, their own “transfixingly beautiful” (Vincent Plush, Limelight Magazine) arrangement of Debussy’s Clair deLune, and works that have shaped their musical identity from Spain, LatinAmerica, and Australia.
The title track “Sidekick” was written for the brothers by award winning composer Katie Jenkins. Her work intentionally inflates and satires the brothers’ relationship with musical bickering and sparring virtuosity.
